In 2007, Enamine Ltd joined forces with UORSY (Ukrorgsyntez Ltd) to launch a joint project to ensure that the 21 heavy atoms often used in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery can be "in-stock-tomorrow." The average values for number of heavy atoms, MW and cLogP of the tangible Enamine building blocks are 18.3, 272 and 2.3, respectively.

The company produces in-house up to 20,000 compounds per month, which allows the Screening Collection to be ever-expanding. Meanwhile, the "golden set" of tangible Enamine building blocks (1,226,810 structures, containing up to 16 heavy atoms) have also been posted online at Symyx® Available Chemicals Directory. These databases are now updated weekly.

 

Delivery Time

 

About 8,500 Enamine building blocks were synthesized in 2009, with lead time of 4-6 weeks and feasibility of 80%. Pharma and biotech companies worldwide selected over 4,000 of these compounds from the database of tangible building blocks and ordered them at fixed prices ranging from 200 to 800 € per gram. During the synthesis of the ordered tangible building blocks and fragments, customers receive weekly progress reports.

 

Customers located in North America and Europe may request rush delivery of selected building blocks in available batch sizes (usually 1 g batches). Current catalog of Buildings Blocks is available in SDF/Db and PDF formats.
